Let’s Get Ready to Celebrate Together!
After November’s Diwali extravaganza we are now getting prepared for the Christmas festivities to come.
Please contact the school office to organise an appointment to visit the nursery. You can pick up an application form when you visit. Our spaces fill up very quickly so it is best to complete an application form as soon as possible.
After November’s Diwali extravaganza we are now getting prepared for the Christmas festivities to come.
As the cold set in, the children at THNS remembered that keeping busy helps to keep you warm!
This week our wheels were put away for most of the week to encourage our keen balance bikers to spread their wings and investigate other aspects of our garden.
Last week saw… Jackie’s popcorn machine in action, giving the children the chance to practise our favourite “Popcorn Kernels” song as well as enjoy a delicious treat.
This was our first festival week this half term. Sunday will see millions of people all over the world celebrating Diwali and the forces of good overcoming and triumphing together!
This week the children’s adventure continued come rain or shine! With the last of our sunflower seeds and runner beans collected, and the vegetables chopped and eaten, the snails have been given free reign of the flower beds and green areas.
Our last week of the half term was accompanied by gingerbread treats.
This week conkers were counted and sunflower seeds were sorted. Our resident squirrels are getting more and more bold as they venture into our busy garden to collect their share of the sunflower seeds and even the odd potato….
Indoors this week autumnal collages were being made, sunflower seeds were being tweezered and then scattered, pasta was poured and crunched and conkers were sorted into size and then shape groups.
