Run, Run as Fast as You Can!
Our last week of the half term was accompanied by gingerbread treats.
Please contact the school office to organise an appointment to visit the nursery. You can pick up an application form when you visit. Our spaces fill up very quickly so it is best to complete an application form as soon as possible.
Our last week of the half term was accompanied by gingerbread treats.
This week conkers were counted and sunflower seeds were sorted. Our resident squirrels are getting more and more bold as they venture into our busy garden to collect their share of the sunflower seeds and even the odd potato….
Indoors this week autumnal collages were being made, sunflower seeds were being tweezered and then scattered, pasta was poured and crunched and conkers were sorted into size and then shape groups.
After losing a giant marrow to a hungry creature last week, we decided it was time to harvest and eat our produce.
We were too late to save some of our courgettes this week… who had a nibble we will never know for sure…could it have been Mrs Fox?
This week a gloopy cornflour mix took over our messy play area.
The first week back in Nursery means welcoming back old friends and making new ones, as children join our community for their Nursery year!
Our potato crop was harvested on Thursday and happily only one trip to Tesco was needed to supplement our new potato harvest… which made delicious wedges for all to share.
Using a book and characters from a new initiative by Croydon Council we have been talking about “The Wellbeing Way”.
