This week, we had our first survey of the year. Throughout the year, the children are posed different questions based on our curriculum, interests expressed by the children… and what we plan to put in our bellies!
This week, Ladybird class have been exploring the natural materials that have been brought in by the parents.
This week was action packed. Treasure Chest Sessions saw children making predictions from a selection of items…which ones will sink and which ones will float?
The Macmillan coffee and cake event has been a long standing tradition at Thornton Heath Nursery School as we recognise that not only does it raise money for this service but it is also a chance for families to come together to make a difference.
Welcome back to the nursery! Over the last few weeks we have welcomed back old friends and are making new ones, as children join our nursery community.

This week a mysterious treasure chest appeared in our reading room.
This week, we welcomed new friends to the THNS community. Our established children stepped up to not just welcome, but support their new friends to separate from their carers and begin to access the wonderful spaces and resources at Thornton Heath Nursery School.
