This week Ladybird class received their Insect Lore. This was a pot with five live caterpillars in and the children have to watch and wait for them to grow big enough to work their way to the top of the pot and become chrysalides.
This week the children were posed a difficult question; Which pet shall we ask for…a deadly Australian Red Back Spider or a collection of Butterflies?…
This term we are focusing on the artist Picasso. Picasso was an artist that liked to use big bold shapes and sometimes he used bright colours.
The adventure and exploration continued this week as the children enjoyed cooling off with frozen treats, foot baths and misty showers!
Welcome back children we hope you had a good week off.
Our final half term has begun and our beautiful garden is supporting a plethora of life for the children to investigate, explore and interact with.
The garden at Thornton Heath Nursery School is now in full bloom.
