Potting Up the Beans…Snail Watch…and Magpie nest Building!
Our final week before the Easter break has been busy one.
Please contact the school office to organise an appointment to visit the nursery. You can pick up an application form when you visit. Our spaces fill up very quickly so it is best to complete an application form as soon as possible.
Our final week before the Easter break has been busy one.
On Monday we returned to nursery to see unprecedented growth in the THNS greenhouse.
This week’s rain has been collected and stored… allowing our pots and seedlings to be watered the natural way!
This week we celebrated our first germination! The mixed lettuce seeds and radishes have germinated… stand by for more developments next week!
The week started with some Mondrian inspired use of colour, shape and line.
The beginning of the week was set aside for pancakes…our Chinese New Year celebrations, followed by half term meant that Shrove Tuesday, or Pancake Day, was not celebrated.
This week the children have been learning about the Lunar New Year, or the Chinese New Year.
This week the children have been watching and discussing a performance by the late Japanese artist Shozo Shimamoto.
This week, Helen worked her magic on a slimy concoction. This created an opportunity for the children to share the multi sensory experience of stretching, smelling, squeezing and even skipping with the gelatinous, oozy substance!
