The sudden blast of winter weather gave us the opportunity to explore our frozen garden.

Today was Odd Sock Day at the nursery and what a wonderful array of socks we saw!
This week the children have been celebrating Diwali. We have been read the story of Rama and Sita and we have been watching some Diwali celebration videos.
Last week’s midweek return from half term meant there was not time for preparations and a party for Diwali, which was celebrated on 31st October.
With Diwali Celebrations taking place this week, we have been telling the story behind the celebrations of Rama and Sita.
Our Gold Award certificates which focus on celebrating successes based around the characteristics of effective learning were given out at the end of the first half of the autumn term.
On Wednesday we delivered an impressive amount of food to the St Alban’s Foodbank.
