The water shop has been doing brisk business this week, ensuring the children are hydrated. Manned by volunteer children, a cup of ice cold water may cost anything from 3 pebbles to 7 sticks. The children are aware of the need to stay well watered in hot weather, they get some number practice… and a nice opportunity for some role play too!
We are pleased to announce the produce from our garden centre has been planted out, assisted by the hot weather and dry nights the snails have been kept at bay…the only losses have been down to over zealous watering…a learning experience for the children as we learn to care for our plants from seed, to plant, to plate!
