This week in our ladybird class we have been learning lots of facts about shapes.

This week, we have been reading a new favourite, “Julian is a Mermaid” by Jessica Love.
This week the children in Ladybird class have been creating works of art using sponges, scrubbing brushes and paint.
NEW RISK ASSESSMENT (RA) JANUARY 2022 With the emergence of the Omicron variant we now need to make certain changes to our working practices within Thornton Heath Nursery School in order to ensure all our children and staff are safe.
The icy weather could not stifle the warmth of friends being reunited after the Christmas break, and new friends being welcomed into Thornton Heath Nursery School.

All of our children at the nursery have been learning some fantastic Christmassy songs over the last couple of weeks.
We have made Butternut Squash soup and it was delicious! The butternut squash was gently roasted in our oven, the smell was divine.
This week the ladybird children have been focusing on making lists, this has helped them develop their mark making skills, giving meaning to the marks they have made.
