This week Ladybird class have been listening to different types of classical music.
This week the carrot harvest was peeled, chopped and tasted. They may have been some of the wonkiest carrots to have come from Thornton Heath’s soil, but once cooked they were delicious!
Mud, hammers and carrots! This week it was harvest time! We have the wonkiest carrots in Thornton Heath, we shall be roasting them next week to see if they are the tastiest!
Welcome back. The children of Thornton Heath have returned to Nursery with a spring in their step.

You will have read in our newsletter that one of our wonderful parents asked us to take part in an exciting new programme designed to bring people together through art, history, dialogue and learning to make racial justice a reality.
This week, as the country sweltered in the heat, the Thornton Heath Nursery children found interesting ways of keeping cool.
These wonderful children have managed to come to school every day during the second half of the summer term.
At our parent workshop this week we rolled out a host of “toys” that not only promote early computing skills but also cross link to other areas of the curriculum.
