Getting creative!
This week the children of Thornton Heath Nursery have been as busy as always.

This week the children of Thornton Heath Nursery have been as busy as always.
With bonfire night last weekend, it gave us the opportunity to watch some firework display footage on the interactive whiteboard and talk about the beautiful fireworks.
As a result of the announcement by the Prime Minister allowing another bank holiday for the coronation of King Charles III the term dates for Thornton Heath Nursery School have now been changed.
Many of you will be aware that during the summer term last year, our nursery took part in an exciting new programme designed to bring people together through a sculpture trail of globes that stretched across the UK.
In our first week back after half term we have had rain and sunshine…but with the right equipment we have been outside having adventures as always!
For the first time since the covid pandemic 2019, we were able to hold our International Afternoon which has always been a tradition at the nursery.
Next week, our Hindu friends shall be celebrating Diwali and at Thornton Heath Nursery we learn about and take inspiration from all the celebrations happening within our community.
This week the Ladybird class have had the opportunity to do some cooking.
This week the fire pit was lit once more. The children rolled up their sleeves and floured up to make some flat breads.
