NSPCC Number Day
For the first time ever we decided to take part in the NSPCC Number Day event which raises money for the NSPCC Charity.
Please contact the school office to organise an appointment to visit the nursery. You can pick up an application form when you visit. Our spaces fill up very quickly so it is best to complete an application form as soon as possible.
For the first time ever we decided to take part in the NSPCC Number Day event which raises money for the NSPCC Charity.
Last week we had a fun filled day whilst wearing our pyjamas to school and in return we brought in a food donation for the St Alban’s Foodbank.
On Wednesday we celebrated Chinese New Year. The children had previously voted that they wanted to have chocolate cake as part of the celebration (a little treat doesn’t hurt every now and again!)
The children and parents worked hard last week to create beautiful decorations for our entries in to the Christmas Tree Festival at St Alban’s Church which is happening this weekend!
Today was Odd Sock Day at the nursery and what a wonderful array of socks we saw!
Our Gold Award certificates which focus on celebrating successes based around the characteristics of effective learning were given out at the end of the first half of the autumn term.
On Wednesday we delivered an impressive amount of food to the St Alban’s Foodbank.
Yesterday we held our annual “International Day” which celebrates the wonderful diversity of the families that attend the nursery.
The Macmillan coffee and cake event has been a long standing tradition at Thornton Heath Nursery School as we recognise that not only does it raise money for this service but it is also a chance for families to come together to make a difference.
