Happy New Year!
On Wednesday the children of Thornton Heath Nursery School welcomed each other and went straight to work together; hammering, building and exploring our wonderful grounds and resources. The beginning of term is an exciting time when we welcome back old friends and make new ones, as we are joined by children from our community who have turned 3 years old.
Our “old hand” 3 to 4-year-old children have become wonderful role models. Children were shown how to use the outdoor climbing equipment independently and safely, the self-service paint station was mostly kept neat and tidy and the newest members of our school community were shown how things are done in group time. A short week this week…but a busy one!
