THNS has a visit from Firefighters!

This week, the children at THNS had a visit from Firefighters from Norbury Fire Station as part of our 'People Who Help Us' week. They all had the chance to sit inside the fire engine, squirt the hose and some children were able to try on some of the firefighters clothes. Please pop into the nursery to see even more photos from this exciting visit!

Meet our two African snails!

Our children are fascinated by our two new African snails! We are holding a competition to decide what we should name them, so remember to write your ideas down. Our snails love munching on lettuce, tomatoes and cucumber!

Spring Term 100% Attendance Awards!

A HUGE well done to the 14 children and families who achieved 100% attendance during the Spring term. This is a real achievement for such young children. We are especially impressed by 3 children and their families, who have managed to have 100% attendance during both the Autumn and Spring terms this academic year! Well done!

Happy Easter from all the children and staff at THNS! We look forward to our Easter Egg hunt tomorrow and also revealing the winners of our Easter Egg Raffle! Have a safe and enjoyable Easter holiday break and remember that the children come back to nursery on Monday 11th April.

Developing our fine motor skills at THNS

Children in our 3 and 4 year old nursery have been busy threading to make pasta necklaces this week. Even when some children found this tricky, they concentrated and persisted until they found success!

“Our lima beans are germinating!”

Children at THNS have been learning new vocabulary this week, related to planting and growing. They are all trying to grow their own lima beans and are fascinated with the new word 'germinating'!
