Summer Is Here
Today we had a picnic with all the children and parents to celebrate the end of the academic year.
Please contact the school office to organise an appointment to visit the nursery. You can pick up an application form when you visit. Our spaces fill up very quickly so it is best to complete an application form as soon as possible.

Our potato crop was harvested on Thursday and happily only one trip to Tesco was needed to supplement our new potato harvest… which made delicious wedges for all to share.
Using a book and characters from a new initiative by Croydon Council we have been talking about “The Wellbeing Way”.
This week our voting was about how many caterpillars had turned into chrysalides.
This week we received a visit from Ugne, our local Oral Health Educator.
This week Ladybird class received their Insect Lore. This was a pot with five live caterpillars in and the children have to watch and wait for them to grow big enough to work their way to the top of the pot and become chrysalides.
This week the children were posed a difficult question; Which pet shall we ask for…a deadly Australian Red Back Spider or a collection of Butterflies?…
This term we are focusing on the artist Picasso. Picasso was an artist that liked to use big bold shapes and sometimes he used bright colours.
The adventure and exploration continued this week as the children enjoyed cooling off with frozen treats, foot baths and misty showers!
