As this is the last week before we all go off to celebrate Christmas and the end of the year we have been doing lots of festive things. The children were able to dress up in various costumes e.g. Santa, elves, snowmen and stars.
We have been doing lots of different festive activities for example, colouring festive pictures making tree decorations, lots of dancing and of course cooking. The children made peppermint creams and rocky road to take home to share with their parents. All through this week the children have still been learning through these activities.
The children had their singalong at the church this week and it went amazing. It was so nice to see all the parents join us and for all of us to get involved together. I have to say I was very proud of all the ladybird class for singing along with every one as normally they are very shy in front of their parents and other people they don’t know.
And today we have our Christmas party to finish the year off the children all have party hats that they have made. We are going to eat drink and be merry and do lots of dancing and have lots of fun.
