The Ladybird class have had lots of new children start since returning after the Easter break which has made our room very busy.

The Ladybird class have had lots of new children start since returning after the Easter break which has made our room very busy.
Lady bird class have finally finished their big build. We have spent last half term making an elephant, the children have used different sized boxes to make the frame of the elephant then they have covered it with papier mache to bulk it out and had to wait for it to dry and go hard.
Sadly, Ladybird class have to say good bye to the chicks today.
This week has been very exciting for the Ladybird class as we have had several new arrivals at our nursery.
This week Ladybird class have welcomed some new children to Thornton Heath Nursery School.
This week’s letter and sound of the week was s. Silly soup was being made out of all sorts of strange and stupefying ingredients; snakes, spoons, spiders and stickmen were all being added.
This week the Ladybird class have had the opportunity to help make pancakes, they had to carefully crack two eggs, pour two cups of milk and tip two cups of flour into the bowl, they then had to whisk all the ingredients together to make a batter which was hard work.
