Our final half term has begun and our beautiful garden is supporting a plethora of life for the children to investigate, explore and interact with.

Our final half term has begun and our beautiful garden is supporting a plethora of life for the children to investigate, explore and interact with.
The garden at Thornton Heath Nursery School is now in full bloom.
Today our adult led learning was about understanding the differences between big and small, understanding and following instructions and positional language.
This week the potato plants have thrived in the warmth and light of the sun.
This term we have been focusing on the music genre Motown.
This term we are focusing on the artist Vincent Van Gogh.
Planting has continued this week! We are locked in a battle with the snails of Thornton Heath, who have found our broad bean plants’ leaves too much to resist.
Another busy week in Thornton Heath Nursery. The children have been looking at the work of Vincent Van Gogh this week, recognising some of his work; from his less known, “The Potato Eaters” to his famous classics.
This week, the ladybird class have been focusing on Maths. The children have been making cakes out of playdough and then counting out the number of candles to show their age, before carefully pushing the candles into their playdough cakes.
