Last week we had a fun filled day whilst wearing our pyjamas to school and in return we brought in a food donation for the St Alban’s Foodbank. The staff at the nursery thought that the children might feel tired and sleepy because they were wearing their warm, cosy pyjamas …….. but they were wrong! The staff also enjoyed a comfortable day in their pyjamas, dressing gowns and slippers. There were many conversations had about the different designs and patterns on the pyjamas as well as comparing the length of sleeves, leg length and fastenings. Who would have guessed that so much learning could come out of wearing pyjamas! As always, we were once again amazed at the generosity of our families and the donation box / table was over flowing with food (including some treats), we counted 12 shopping bags full! I am sure the families that access the Foodbank will be extremely thankful.
