We are very proud of two of our girls for their independent art work this week. They decided to draw a penguin and then looked up the image on the iPad. The girls then used different media to create their picture and applied their phonic sounds to write a label. The finished product is amazing and these girls are definitely ready for reception!

The sun shone this morning for our THNS sports day! Our 3 and 4 year olds participated in the great water dash, balancing quoits, wheely push and superhero dash races. The parent races were a particular highlight of the morning! Everyone was a winner and went home with their own special medal and an ice lolly. A BIG thank you to all our hardworking staff and the families who attended today to cheer their children on. Many thanks to Mr Gadd and Whitehorse Manor for letting us borrow their field. This week, our school leavers had an exciting trip to London to see ‘Not Now Bernard!’ at the Unicorn Theatre. The children walked beautifully to Thornton Heath station and travelled safely on the train to London Bridge, which was quite an achievement with 53 children aged 3 & 4! We’re so proud of our children for their beautiful behaviour and for being so sensible. A HUGE thanks goes to our parent volunteers and amazing staff who have spent weeks preparing this unique experience for our children. Please click here to see photos from our trip.

Our 2 and 3yr olds had a fantastic day out at Crystal Palace Park Farm today. Their parents/ carers attended the trip with them so it was a fabulous family experience. The children had the chance to meet and handle lots of different animals. Thank you to all the staff who worked so hard to arrange this valuable learning experience.
