This week our book of the week was “Mix it Up!’

In our pre-nursery this week we have been focusing on developing our knowledge of number sense.

We have started the second half of our autumn Term with a Diwali celebration.

This week the children have been celebrating Diwali. We have been reading the story of Rama and Sita and we have been watching some Diwali celebration videos. 

This year we have launched our Gold award initiative which focuses on celebrating successes based around the characteristics of effective learning. 

This week the Nursery children have enjoyed reading about a team of soup chefs in, ‘Pumpkin Soup’ by Helen Cooper. 

This week we have been reading and retelling the heart-warming book, ‘So Much’ by Trish Cook and Helen Oxenbury. 

Over the last two weeks, the children have been very busy.  

Every NHS mental health trust in London has put a 24/7 crisis telephone line in place so that children, young people and their families can get free help, advice and urgent medical health support.
