This week the children have been learning about prepositions (positional language) e.g. over/under, in/out, across/beneath, up/down etc. They have had the story ‘Rosie’s Walk’ read to them to help them understand what prepositions are all about. Then they have been using the nursery’s indoor and outdoor equipment to demonstrate the prepositions they have learnt. We took photos of the children doing this and have made several books for the children to look through to embed their knowledge.
