Our maths area was transformed into a mini mart to rival Harrods this week. Karen reports that engagement was high and focused as role play coins and cash were complimented by pebbles and conkers as currency was exchanged, counted and sorted.
Kandinsky’s circles and colours were observed and discussed as children linked them to our Colour Monster book. We learnt about how Kandinsky used colour and shape to express and create feelings. From zig zag reds to meandering blues…how do the paintings make you feel?
