To celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee we hosted a picnic for the families at Thornton Heath Nursery School today. The sun was shining and the sky was blue. Parents joined us armed with fruit salads, sandwiches, snacks and cold drinks. There was opportunity to decorate a crown, complete a jubilee scavenger hunt and we even had a royal photo ‘booth’! Every child in the nursery has received a commemorative medal to remind them of the day that they celebrated the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. Thank you to all that were able to attend.
