New friends have continued to settle and old friends have continued showing the way!
Less self portraits and more self collages as plates were decorated with plaits and dreadlocks, curls and even silver foil. Key features on our faces were discussed along with skin tones and textures as colours were blended and applied.
Paper dolls were also explored, inspired by both Julia Donaldson’s fun yet emotionally engaging book, and by our own families; Grannies, Uncles, Mums and Dads were all depicted hand in hand!
Jeans for Genes day on Friday saw our wonderful families turn out in their denim and blues in order to raise money to support the work carried out to support those effected by genetic conditions.
Tomato harvesting continued this week. Should the shield bugs leave us any basil, there is home made pasta sauce planned for next week!
