This week, the children were making their marks as always; from glue and glitter fireworks to beetroot juice patterns.
The last of our beetroot and some surprise tomatoes were harvested. The peel, along with the tops and tails from our homegrown, snack time beetroot were added to hot water before being pressed and squeezed to produce a vibrantly coloured medium for our brushes, fingers and rollers to do their thing!
Yusuf and his mum made a special delivery to Nursery on Tuesday…15 fresh eggs laid by the two hens adopted by Yusuf’s family from our living eggs experience. These became a delightful part of our snack time as the children prepared and enjoyed the eggs on Friday.
The mild weather has ensured the garden has remained busy, with digging, building and mixing projects throughout the week.
