With over 60 tomato seedlings potted, we should have enough to share with our resident snails.
We have 3 varieties of pumpkin seedling, including a giant variety from Lithuania which could yield fruit too big to pick up!
There are courgette, sunflower, broad bean and cucumber seedlings…however we are still waiting for our “red hot chillies” to germinate…only time will tell if we will get a crop this year.
This week, Maria and the children set up a weaving and seamstress studio. The children chose fabric to tie and cut; fashioned into wonderful costume for both themselves and their babies.
Finishing touches were made to Mothers Day crafts, from a choice of chicks or flowers the bouquet prints were the most popular.
Wear a hat day fell on Friday of this week. A chance for us to wear a favourite- or perhaps just ridiculous- hat and collect donations for our friends at St Alban’s foodbank.
