With many of our Muslim friends off school celebrating Eid, we eagerly awaited their return so as to have a shared celebration. Our friends taught us that Eid is a time to come together, give gifts and most importantly share with those in need. Our classic party choice of chocolate bubble bread was shared by all as we played our instruments and danced together.
With the Easter break on the horizon, we also came together for our time honoured spring crafting event; chicks were painted, decorations assembled and colourful eggs were hunted for…there may even have been a second chocolatey treat for the week…
As the term came to a close, the “tricked” beans were planted by the children who have closely observed their germination and development. Will we return to Nursery in two weeks to find bean stalks rising to the clouds?
