At Thornton Heath Nursery School, shutting due to the heat is not in us. If we couldn’t get to the coast, we’d have to bring the coast to us…or at least small portion of Camber!
The Nursery garden was transformed into a sandy paradise of plunge and paddling pools and sandy dunes. Of course any trip to the beach isn’t complete with out a cone, so after enjoying the sand and water it was treat time.
A wonderful shared experience, inspiring awe and wonder and informing lots of lovely conversations…not to mention a fabulous way to stay cool and happy, and keep our doors open during the heat wave.
