Once again, the wonderful families at Thornton Heath Nursery School have shown the true spirit of community. Thanks to your incredible generosity, our recent Harvest collection brought in an abundance of essential food, toiletries, and clothing to support the St Albans foodbank.
Yesterday morning, the nursery was buzzing with excitement as a fantastic group of helpers, both young and old(er) gathered to deliver the donations. Together, we carried over dozens of heavy shopping bags packed to the brim with staple foods like pasta, rice, soup, tinned meats, cereals, and jams.
When we arrived, the foodbank volunteers gave us the warmest welcome. They expressed their deep gratitude for your wonderful donations, and we took the opportunity to thank them for their tireless commitment to supporting families in Thornton Heath during difficult times.
The staff at the nursery would like to say a massive, heartfelt thank you to every single person who contributed. Your kindness stays right here in our local community, helping our neighbours when they need it most. We are incredibly proud of our Thornton Heath Nursery School family!
