The children at Thornton Heath Nursery School have already started learning valuable life skills for their future selves. How many times have you wished that you knew how to use a power drill? Just ask one of our children! We learnt how to squeeze the trigger gently so that the drill rotated nice and slowly……and then we squeezed the trigger hard and watched the drill spinning faster and faster! In the workshop we carefully tapped nails in to soft balsa wood using our hammers. We had to wear our goggles the whole time to make sure our eyes were protected. After the Christmas holidays we are going to learn how to use a saw …. we are so excited !
