Happy Easter

Over the past few weeks the Ladybird Class has been focusing on planting and growing. The children have been caring for beans, tomatoes, and sunflowers, all of which have successfully germinated. These have now been repotted into larger containers and we are looking forward to seeing them continue to thrive. We hope that, after the break, they will be strong enough to be planted outdoors and provide us with a wonderful crop over the summer months.
It has also been a very busy and enjoyable week. We were delighted to welcome parents to a special craft day, where they joined the children in creating a variety of Easter-themed activities. The room was filled with creativity as the children made chicks, bunnies, decorated eggs and wooden ornaments.
In addition, the children took part in a fun Easter egg hunt in the garden which was thoroughly enjoyed by all. They also made chocolate nests to take home, which was a lovely treat.
We would like to say a big thank you to all the parents who joined us for the craft day. We hope you all have a wonderful break and return refreshed and ready for what promises to be a busy and, hopefully, sunny summer term.
