This week the heat meant we were keeping cool and hydrated. From being a snail’s paradise last week, this week the garden was dry… even the forewarned storms didn’t materialise.
A new mint plant has grown in our garden, with particularly zingy leaves. A small group experimented with making mint ice tea… it was a success with an approval rating of 50%. Next week we shall be brewing in group time!
Next week is beach party week…will the hot weather continue and give us a Mediterranean experience or will it be like a bad day in Bognor? Only time will come/
