When the temperature drops, the way the children of Thornton Heath Nursery engage with their space transforms along with the weather.
Ice was shaken, broken, carefully inspected, even smashed to pieces giving the children a resource and activity which engages all the senses and an all important talking point.
We welcomed more children to our Nursery community this week with the established children supporting and guiding, ensuring their new friends settled and accessed all that THNS has to offer.
The bubble bread bakery was in full swing this week, along with Jackie’s popcorn machine!
On Friday, Maria created a messy table incorporating wet and dry resources . The ensuing fun created a focal point for relationships to develop as children played alongside friends old and new.
