This week our art work has been inspired by Shozo Shimamoto who was a Japanese artist. Shimamato’s art pieces were often created by throwing vases filled with paint at canvases. The children have recreated his work using brushes and other mark making implements to flick paint across their chosen media. The children created a very large piece of artwork that is now proudly displayed in our nursery. Next week they will be creating more art pieces in this style using different media.
