Since 2014 Thornton Heath Nursery School has been successfully led and managed by Pegasus Academy Trust on behalf of the local authority.
A Hidden Oasis
Set back from main roads and tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the High Street, our indoor premises are surprisingly spacious with a breath taking outdoor learning space that inspires the imagination. Thornton Heath Nursery School has built up a reputation as a caring school and parents of children at the school express high levels of satisfaction with the welcome they receive as well as the progress their children are making in school.
Our learning environments are calm, engaging and ever changing to stimulate learning opportunities at all times. Children are encouraged to be independent, resilient learners with a “can do” attitude. We nurture positive relationships between the children focusing on using kind words, kind hands and playing collaboratively.
