We are currently recruiting for a Level 1 Early Years Teaching Assistant.  

 

 

Role overview

We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team on a full-time, fixed-term contract (31.25 hours per week, term time only) with a negotiable start date. You will play a vital role in supporting children’s learning and development in both indoor and outdoor settings, helping to create a safe, happy, and stimulating environment where every child can thrive.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Approved level 2 qualification for working with children
  • A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning, wellbeing, and development
  • Ability to effectively support children in both outdoor and indoor learning environments
  • Strong team player who communicates confidently with children, staff, and families
  • Commitment to following and promoting school policies, including safeguarding, health and safety, and data protection
  • Experience working with children across a range of abilities
  • Dedication to making a positive difference in the lives of vulnerable children
  • Commitment to equality of opportunity and inclusion
  • Enthusiastic, reliable, with good communication skills and punctuality
  • Willingness to engage in professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
  • Previous Early Years experience is desirable but not essential
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills

Salary: Grade 2, point 3 – 5 (FTE : £28,617 – £29,436 pro rata)

Contract: Full-time, 31.25 hours per week, fixed term, term time only
