This week the children have been learning all about the Hindu festival of light called Diwali. They have been learning about Rangoli patterns, which are traditional patterns made from coloured rice, created to welcome visitors to a home during Diwali. The children have been making their own Rangoli patterns at the nursery. They created them at the entrance to welcome parents and children to our nursery using powder paint and glitter.
