This week the ladybird children have been focusing on making lists, this has helped them develop their mark making skills, giving meaning to the marks they have made. The children had a look through catalogues and choose which toys they would like for Christmas. Some of the children cut out the pictures and stuck them to their list. By giving the children choices they developed their thinking skills and using scissors for cutting developed their fine motor skills. When the children had finished picking what they wanted they made marks to represent their writing .
