Last Thursday our nursery did not look the same as it usually does as we were inundated with children dressed as their favourite book characters in order to celebrate world book day! As our gates opened we greeted pirates, princesses, superheroes, hungry caterpillars and unicorns in to our nursery. We spotted characters from traditional tales such as goldilocks, red riding hood and the three little pigs. There were policeman, firemen and a little Miss Sunshine. The staff also joined in with the celebrations much to the delight of the children.
