This week, following on from the children’s interests in babies, we set up a ‘Baby Clinic’ role play area. The children have been introduced to this theme by watching educational video clips of parents bringing their babies to a clinic to have a check up and to be weighed. The children have been learning new language relating to this such as, stethoscope, thermometer, weighing scales, examine and injection. The children have used the props provided to re-enact baby clinic scenarios in their role play.
