We have been taking part in lots of exciting activities to do with jungle animals such as making our chosen animal. We cut our animal tissue paper up into small pieces then stuck them to the plate, we then added eyes. By cutting the tissue paper ourselves we have developed our fine motor skills. Scissors are a very tricky tool to use, you have to hold them correctly so you can cut the paper and we had to be very careful as we did not want to cut ourselves. We have been playing with the animals and some of us could even compare the different sizes.
We also played a listening game, we had to be very quiet and listen very carefully to the different animal sounds and if we knew them we would name the animal or make the sound. We have even practiced moving around like the different animals, we have had so much fun this week.
