This week the ladybird children have enjoyed completing the obstacle course negotiating their way over the A-frame, along the planks and through the tunnel. They have developed their gross motor skills. By having the obstacle course available for children to use every day it has given them opportunity to develop their gross motor skills, problem solving skills and the use of positional language. By the end of the week you could see that all of the children had gained confidence when using the apparatus.
