As our eldest children continue their last term at Nursery, they have undertaken the responsibility of looking after another intake of children who have turned three within the last 12 weeks.
Our termly intake means that as the children build their strength, confidence and skills they also become teachers and role models to their younger friends.
Maria and Jackie’s greenhouse has truly become a green fingered paradise. Palm trees, corn, 3 types of chillies, courgette, butternut squash and sunflowers continue to thrive.
On Wednesday, we were joined by parents and grandparents in the garden as tomatoes and sunflowers were planted out with expert skill from both carers and children.
The snails have continued to take their share, but we are managing them as humanly as possible by moving those we find to our wild areas.
At the end of week, Jackie hosted one of her her famous pop corn parties and coach Debbie joined us for an unstoppable football session. Rain could not stop play as the Sunshine Room saw more action than Selhurst Park!
