Sharing success – new photos added!

What a wonderful Wednesday we have had.  For the first time this academic year we invited our parents all the way in to the nursery so that they could find out more about their children’s learning from the children themselves.  Parents and carers sat down and talked to their children about the learning that they could see in their learning journey books.  The children were also encouraged to guide their adults around the nursery environment, stopping at their favourite learning activities to demonstrate the skills that they have learnt.  The atmosphere in the nursery was full of excitement as the children showed their parents and carers their colourful art work, sustainable model making, messy play, role play area and outdoor learning spaces where they whizzed around on balance bikes (the children not the parents!).  We have had such positive feedback already from this event:

“The nursery and staff are professional and so creative with the activities.  My son is always excited to go to the nursery”

“We like the variety of games and activities that the children can do and the attention with which the caregivers treat them (the children)”

“My child was at a nursery before this one, I definitely made the right choice moving her.  The facilities are amazing and the staff are so friendly and caring, the learning is fun and the other children are very kind”

We are hoping that more families will return the feedback “speech bubbles” that they were given as they left.
