This week, the children have been very busy. We have read the story ‘Oliver’s Vegetables’. They have had the opportunity to cut the different vegetables and also taste them. It was lovely to see them all try the different vegetables and most of the children were able to name them as well.
Once we had finished cutting the vegetables, they were all put into a pot and cooked. Once the vegetables were cooked through, they were blended together to make our soup. All the children tasted the soup, and some had seconds. The next day, the children took part in vegetable printing and have produced some amazing work which will be displayed in the Ladybird’s room.
