This week we have been focusing on numerical patterns. The children were asked by an adult to either do insert puzzles or the matching flower cards. With the insert puzzles the children were asked if they could complete them and match the right coloured pieces to the correct puzzle. The flower cards were a bit trickier you had to find each correct colour and shape to match the pattern.
These activities have been very successful this week and the children have enjoyed doing them with the adult. Once every child had had a turn they were left out for the children to independently access them, they have enjoyed doing this but also working together with each other which has helped some form relationships with their peers. Well done Ladybirds it’s been a great start to the new year.
