Miss Polly Had A Dolly That Was Sick Sick Sick

This week the two-year-old room featured a role play medical centre. This gave the children a stimulus to not just play, but also talk around their experiences at the doctors and within healthcare. The children had lots of fun role playing with their friends and healing each other with injections, bandages and fast acting medicines!

With Spring on the horizon, it is time for works on the garden. Our garden has now been extended, giving the children more scope to move at speed and develop their manoeuvrability.   A planter needed to be moved which meant some of the three-year-olds came for a visit… to make a big mess and move some soil while they were at it!  Some of the older Lady Birds could not resist getting involved in this very messy process; wellies were worn and spades were used; team work was needed. What a fantastic job they all did.

Friday saw NSPCC’s number day. Many of the children came to school in hats and costumes inspired by their favourite numbers. I’m sure you will agree the children looked fantastic.
