Ladybird class have been reading the book “We’re Going On A Bear Hunt” by Michael Rosen. The children (and adults!) went on a bear hunt in the outdoor learning area. They walked through swishy swashy grass, splash sploshed through an icy river, squelch squerched through mud, stumble tripped through the forest and swirled and whirled through a snowstorm! Finally they tiptoed through a deep dark cave and what do you think they saw ? One shiny wet nose, two big furry ears, two big goggly eyes – IT’S A BEAR!!!
