Parents and carers joined us for yet another highly successful and popular workshop. We highlighted the benefits of cooking with your child, not only to promote healthy eating but also how cooking is a learning experience linked to maths, reading, language development, science and many more curriculum areas. The children then joined their their parents / carers to create delicious pizzas, fluffy scones and scrumptious smoothies. Fruit was chopped, cheese was sprinkled, dough was pushed and pulled! Once the pizzas were cooked they were eaten outside in our little playground which created an impromptu picnic! For more information about the benefits of cooking with your child click here.
