School Improvement

At THNS we are constantly striving to improve outcomes for our children, staff and families. Please have a look at our school improvement priorities for 2019-20.

We will maintain consistently good or better teaching by all staff to ensure that at least 80% of children are making good progress across the academic year.

We will raise levels of attainment and progress for all children, particularly across the following identified areas/ groups:

  • Continue to challenge more able and more able disadvantaged children (in all areas)
  • Children who speak English as an Additional Language (in all areas but
    particularly in speaking, reading and number)
  • Children who are eligible for Early Years Pupil Premium (in number,
    understanding and managing feelings & behaviour)
  • Boys (in all areas but particularly in speaking, reading and number)
